Pakistan Basmati Heritage Foundation (PBHF), founded in 2018 by prominent rice millers and exporters of Pakistan, aims to explore ways to enhance the sustainability in rice production.

Our goal is to meet the global future demand for safe and healthy rice while still caring for the planet, promoting sustainable farming practices, and safeguarding smallholder farmers’ livelihoods

PBHF is responsible for aligning the like-minded stakeholders from rice industry – from farmers to exporters, researchers to policymakers – in a collaborative effort to transform challenges into opportunities.

By fostering innovation and adopting best practices, PBHF aims to restore the competitive edge of Pakistani Basmati rice in international markets, revitalize exports, and expand the global reach of our Basmati Rice.
